Fruit Farming Labourer Needed In Canada By Pingle’s Farm Market
We are looking for dedicated and hardworking Fruit Farming Labourers to assist with various tasks on our fruit farm.
The Fruit Farming Labourer will be responsible for planting, maintaining, harvesting, and packing fruit crops, while following safety and quality standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a strong work ethic, and is willing to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
Plant, water, prune, and tend to fruit crops, such as apples, berries, grapes, citrus, or other fruit types.
Harvest ripe fruits by hand or using small tools, carefully handling produce to avoid damage.
Sort, grade, and pack fruits for transportation and sale.
Monitor crops for signs of disease, pests, or damage, and report issues to the supervisor.
Apply fertilizers, pesticides, or other treatments under supervision to maintain crop health.
Remove weeds, clear debris, and maintain the cleanliness of the farm area.
Operate basic farm equipment, such as hand tools, ladders, and small machinery, as required.
Assist in setting up irrigation systems and ensuring proper water supply to crops.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
Perform other general farm duties as assigned by the supervisor or farm manager.
Requirements:
Previous experience in farming, agriculture, or fruit harvesting is preferred but not required.
Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

Apply the technique of hoeing between the row
Clean the crops
Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas

Cut agricultural crops
Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots
Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.
Greenhouse cleaning
Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions

Pack fruits and vegetables
Pick row and orchard crops
Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts
